My mom gave me her old Singer and I just wanted a nice case to store it in when not in use. This item fits the bill. Nicely made and good locking hinges. For the price, it can't be beat.

Not sure why people are tripping out about the size, the dimensions are clearly listed in the details. Funny how people think they can assume size dimensions for a picture. In any case, probably too large for modern machines but just right for the older models.
